CAN announces several summer programs for Northside children.
A Puppies Are People Too! Camp
A camp for kids ages 5 - 12
Children can sign up for all four weeks, or for specific weeks only. These camps will focus on dogs, dog behavior, how dogs help people, how to care for them, etc. Dog groomers & trainers will pay a visit, as well an AAPD K-9 dog. Field trips include the Humane Society, an animal hospital, etc. Of course we’ll also go swimming and do other regular camp fun activities! Priority is given to children living in the Northside area including Arrowwood Hills.
Times: 10 AM to 5:30PM
Place: Northside Community Center
Childcare available by request starting at 8 AM.
1. SESSION ONE: August 4 – 8: Puppy Camp
2. SESSION TWO: August 11 -15: Dogs in Hollywood
3. SESSION THREE: August 18 – 22: Dogs Around The World
4. SESSION FOUR: August 25 – 29: Olympic Competition
$100.00 per session, or $350.00 for all four camps,

Ann Arbor By Bike Camp
A camp for kids 11 and up
A teen biking program that will give teens the skills they need to safely ride their bikes in Ann Arbor. Bikes can be provided if needed, but please let us know ahead of time. Kids will learn how to maintain their bikes, read bike maps, navigate safely around Ann Arbor. Lots of fun activities, including “Pimp your Bike” day!
1. SESSION ONE: July 7 – July 11
2. SESSION TWO: July 14 – July 18
3. SESSION THREE: July 21 – July 25
Times: 10 AM – 5:30 PM
$100.00 per session,
